MAHSA foundation partner rate
MAHSA's foundation year at RM12,650 against a standard rate of roughly RM23,000, available through authorised Central Asian agency channels. UNCONDITIONAL: it does not depend on what you do afterwards, and it is yours whether you continue to a MAHSA degree or transfer away. The fee is also inclusive — visa and student-pass charges are inside it, which is not true of any other Malaysian route on this board. Continue into a MAHSA bachelor's and the foundation year is covered in full instead.

Eligibility
- 11-year Central Asian school certificate accepted directly

- The Science stream, which carries conditional entry to MBBS, Dentistry and Pharmacy, asks for the strongest school grades of the four streams
How to apply

MAHSA foundation-year scholarship (100%)
Continue from the MAHSA foundation year into a MAHSA bachelor's and the foundation year carries a 100% scholarship. CONDITIONAL: it depends on progressing into a MAHSA degree. University of Southampton Malaysia merit scholarships
Read straight off a Central Asian school certificate rather than off A-levels, which is what makes it usable here. On the Tajik Certificate of Completed Secondary Education: Excellent (5) in nine or more subjects is a 100% award on the Engineering and Computer Science foundation, seven subjects RM13,000, six RM7,000, five RM3,000. On the Business foundation the ladder is one subject easier at every step — seven subjects is 100%. Undergraduate awards run to 60% of year one plus 20–40% of later years at the top band. An education grant of RM1,500 (foundation) or up to RM5,000 (undergraduate) is open to everyone who does NOT hold a scholarship.
- Funder
- University of Southampton Malaysia

- Varies by award
- Levels
- Foundation · Bachelor's
- Typical window
- Foundation intakes April, July and September; undergraduate September (verify the current call)
Eligibility
- Awards do not stack — only ONE financial incentive, the highest, applies to each student
- A deposit is required both to hold the place and to qualify for any award, and it is not refundable if you then decide not to enrol
- Equivalences are published for Tajikistan; Uzbek, Kyrgyz and Kazakh certificates must be assessed by UoSM admissions before any band is quoted
How to apply
With the application. We map your certificate onto the published bands before you apply, so you know which band you are in rather than hoping.

INTI merit discount (up to 45%)
Up to 45% off the first year's tuition, and a further 20% off the second year on your results at INTI. It is a MERIT award rather than a rate everyone gets: it asks for IELTS 7 — a full band above INTI's own entry bar — together with a strong SAT score and strong school grades. For a student who qualifies on the American Degree Transfer Program the first year lands roughly between RM22,800 and RM28,000 against RM41,460 at the sticker rate.
- Funder
- INTI International University
- Covers
- Part of the cost
- Levels
- Foundation · Bachelor's
- Typical window
- January, May and August intakes (verify the current call)
Eligibility
- IELTS 7, a strong SAT score and strong school grades for the full 45%
- The second-year 20% is assessed on your results at INTI, not at school
- RM5,991 of pre-arrival charges sits outside any discount, and 6% SST applies on top
What to prepare, and when to start
- IELTS 7 is the gate. It is a full band above INTI's entry requirement, so book the test early enough to sit it twice.
- SAT: a strong score is asked for and no band is published — we will not invent one.
How to apply
With the application. Treat the figure as an estimate until INTI puts the award in an offer letter — we will tell you honestly whether your grades reach it before you build a budget on it.

Albukhary International University full scholarship
The most complete package in Malaysia and the hardest to qualify for — and the reason is income, not grades. AIU is a private non-profit university whose entire model is educating students who could not otherwise afford higher education, and its award covers tuition, on-campus accommodation, meals and a monthly stipend for the whole degree. IT DOES NOT COVER FLIGHTS OR THE EMGS VISA PROCESS. Owner-confirmed as a direct partnership opening for the next cycle; we cannot submit here yet.

Eligibility
- REPORTED HOUSEHOLD INCOME CEILING OF ABOUT USD 300 A MONTH. This is the whole test and it will exclude most families who can afford an agency at all. Read it before anything else.
- Aged 18-22
- Flights and EMGS visa costs are the student's own
How to apply
Not yet — this route is not open. We will publish the process when the partnership is signed.

DSU Regional Scholarships (Diritto allo Studio Universitario)
Italy's regional student-welfare system, and the strongest value in Europe for a family on a modest income. Assessment is based mainly on documented family income rather than pure academic competition, which is what makes it winnable. For a qualifying student it waives tuition entirely, provides university accommodation and one canteen meal a day, and pays a yearly cash stipend in the region of EUR 6,500-7,200. Italy requires a school qualification from 12 years of study, so an 11-year certificate needs a completed foundation year first - a Malaysian foundation certificate, submitted with its exam results and credits, is the standard bridge.
- Funder
- Italian regional student-welfare bodies (DiSCo Lazio, DSU Toscana, EDISU Piemonte, ER.GO Emilia-Romagna and others)
- Covers
- Full award
- Levels
- Bachelor's · Master's
- Typical window
- Typically applications close around May for the following October; pre-enrolment via Universitaly runs in the spring (verify the current call)
Eligibility
- Documented family income (ISEE) below the regional threshold - commonly around EUR 25,000
- Enrolled or pre-enrolled at a public university in that region
- A qualification from 12 years of schooling, or a completed foundation year with exams and credits
- Renewed each year by earning the required credits
- CIMEA Statement of Comparability is usually required for the foreign qualification
What to prepare, and when to start
- No language test is set by DSU itself — the scholarship is assessed on documented family income, not on scores.
- The UNIVERSITY sets the language bar: Italian-taught degrees typically require Italian at B2, English-taught ones an English test. Check the specific course.
- CIMEA Statement of Comparability for your qualification — start this early, it is slow and it is the usual reason a strong candidate misses the deadline.
How to apply
Pre-enrol through Universitaly, apply to the university, and apply separately to the regional DSU body for the region you are studying in - the scholarship and the admission are two different applications with two different deadlines. We prepare and submit both, including the CIMEA assessment.

Stipendium Hungaricum
Hungary's flagship government scholarship and one of the few fully funded routes in Europe that is genuinely open at bachelor level. It covers tuition in full, pays a monthly stipend, contributes to accommodation and includes medical insurance. Roughly 900 foreign-language programmes across about 30 Hungarian institutions, most of them taught in English. Uzbekistan, Kazakhstan and Kyrgyzstan are confirmed partner countries.
- Funder
- Government of Hungary (Tempus Public Foundation)
- Covers
- Full award
- Levels
- Bachelor's · Master's · PhD
- Typical window
- Typically opens in November and closes in January for the following September (verify the current call)
Eligibility
- Citizen of a partner country - Uzbekistan, Kazakhstan and Kyrgyzstan confirmed; Tajikistan to be verified for the current cycle
- Applications are nominated through the sending country's own authority as well as submitted to Hungary
- Bachelor, one-tier master, master and doctoral levels all available
- Language requirement set by the individual programme, usually English
What to prepare, and when to start
- Language certificate as required by the specific programme — the scholarship does not set one central band, the university does.
- Two programme choices must be named in the application, so decide both before the window opens.
- A motivation letter and a medical certificate are part of the standard file.
How to apply
Two parallel steps: the online application at apply.stipendiumhungaricum.hu, and nomination by the sending authority in your own country. Missing the national nomination step is the most common reason a strong application never gets considered.

Tuition-free public universities (Germany)
Not a scholarship but structurally better than most: public universities in 15 of Germany's 16 states charge no tuition to international students, leaving only a semester contribution of roughly EUR 150-400 which usually includes a public transport pass. Over 200 bachelor programmes are taught in English. Students may work up to 140 full days a year, and Germany's post-study job market is the strongest argument in Europe for anyone whose real goal is to study and then work.
- Funder
- German federal states
- Covers
- Part of the cost
- Levels
- Bachelor's · Master's
- Typical window
- Winter semester applications typically close in July; summer semester in January (verify the current call)
Eligibility
- A recognised university entrance qualification - an 11-year certificate is not sufficient on its own and normally requires a Studienkolleg or foundation year first
- Proof of funds in a blocked account for the student visa
- Language: English-taught programmes need IELTS or equivalent; German-taught need roughly B2-C1
- Health insurance is mandatory
What to prepare, and when to start
- German-taught degrees require a German test — TestDaF or DSH. This is the real barrier and it takes a year or more to reach from zero.
- English-taught master's require an English test; the band is set by the university, not by any central body.
- A blocked account (Sperrkonto) proving living funds is required for the visa, separately from any language result.
How to apply
Most public universities admit through uni-assist; a few apply directly. The blocked account and the embassy appointment are the two items that decide your timeline, so start them early.

Tuition-free public universities (Czech Republic, Czech-taught)
Czech public universities charge no tuition for degrees taught in Czech, and a one-year Czech language preparatory course is the standard route in. English-taught programmes at the same universities are charged, typically in the EUR 2,000-15,000 range depending on field. Student work rights are unusually generous. This is the cheapest genuine European degree available to a student willing to learn the language.

- Czech public universities

- Levels
- Bachelor's · Master's
- Typical window
- Language-year applications typically run spring to summer; degree entry the following autumn (verify the current call)
Eligibility
- Recognised secondary qualification - nostrification of the foreign certificate is required
- Czech language at the level the programme demands, normally reached through the preparatory year
- English-taught alternatives are available at the same universities for a fee
How to apply
Apply to the preparatory language year first, then to the degree programme. Certificate nostrification is the step that most often delays a Czech application - begin it before anything else.
