The money
The first year takes about RM40,300 all in on the foundation route — RM28,400 of tuition plus roughly RM11,900 of deposits, registration and bonds, of which RM1,500 is refundable. Entering at first degree level it is about RM44,500–47,700 on the same basis. Living costs are on top of both, and every figure is before 6% SST. The rest of the schedule: foundation RM28,400 for the year, or RM29,200 on the engineering pathway and RM21,200 if taken fully online. Diplomas RM54,200 over two years. Degrees are priced per level — about RM108,500 across three years for computing, business and design, RM110,400 for architecture, and RM137,200 across four years for engineering. The De Montfort dual award adds GBP 450 a level.

- About RM11,900 before tuition: RM3,400 on accepting the offer, RM2,000 when the visa is approved, RM5,000 registration, plus a refundable RM500 library deposit and RM1,000 personal bond.

- Visa renewal RM1,100–1,450 a year. Engineering adds a refundable RM500 lab deposit. Every fee is quoted before 6% SST, which is charged on top.
