Università di Padova in detail
What you need
- Entry
- Italy requires twelve years of schooling, so an eleven-year certificate needs a bridging year or one year of university at home before it is accepted. Admission runs through Universitaly and the Italian consulate on a fixed annual calendar — we work backwards from the pre-enrolment date, not from the university's own deadline.
- English
- B2 is the standard level: IELTS 6.0, TOEFL iBT 80, PTE Academic 65, Cambridge B2 First 173 or Trinity ISE II. The level itself is set by each programme's regulations and can be B1 (IELTS 5.0) or C1 (IELTS 7.0), so check the exact course. Duolingo is not accepted

Worth knowing before you pay
Italian public universities set tuition by FAMILY INCOME, assessed through a document called the ISEE, and award need-based grants on the same basis. A family that files it correctly can pay very little; a family that does not file it is charged the top band. We prepare the ISEE with you — it is the single most valuable thing we do on an Italian application, and it has a deadline of its own.
From secondary sources — we confirm every figure with the institution before you commit to anything.
